I LOVE USAA! I'm one of their biggest fans. There's a reason that they are consistently ranked as having the best customer service in the the financial and insurance industry - they genuinely care about their members. A lot of other companies could take a lesson from them!

As a member of 59 years, I have had unwavering trust in USAA, and am constantly impressed by the knowledge of every person I talk to....they are very well versed in their field and never have to put you on hold while they check with a supervisor. Call, ask, and it's a done deal! Helluva deal!!

I have been a member for since early 70's and will can no longer recommend them. In my opinion their response is suspect at best and they no longer offer the client service they were once known for.
I'm sorry that the latest commenter had such a bad experience. I, however, can't sing USAA's praises enough! They've always been there for me and have always taken care of me and my family. I will always be a part of the USAA family!
USAA Rocks!! I had a motorcycle in college that I would drive up and down the freeway from Prescott, AZ to Phoenix, AZ winter or summer. One drive I found myself immersed in steam as I arrived in "hotbox" Phoenix. In my money-broke college wisdom I decided to try and coerce the bike back up the mountains to Phoenix. Of course I managed to seize the engine from heat, hailed a ride another 40 miles up the road to the next station and called USAA. They had a wrecker truck there within an hour and hauled my bike to a mechanic's shop within a couple miles of my house in Prescott!
I have had four windshields replaced on three vehicles without incident over the years. I have had put a car in the ditch and as soon as I could get to a phone, again they had a wrecker there pulling my car out.
I have financed a car while standing in the seller's yard, was emailed the paperwork and within a few hours I had a check to the owner.

I have been a member of USAA since 1999, after I returned to the States from South Korea. I currently have savings and checking accounts, an investment account, car and renter's insurance. I just wanted to say that I have been, currently, and will continue to enjoy being a member of the USAA community. Thanks for the great service USAA!
